AYUSH Counselling 2025 Important Dates, Fees, Merit List, Eligibility (AACCC Result Out)
AYUSH Counselling 2025 is an admission process for courses in Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. This counselling process is essential for students who aspire to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate courses in traditional systems of medicine. Counselling Process involves a structured procedure that includes registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, and reporting to the allotted institution. AYUSH Counselling is conducted for admission into both undergraduate and postgraduate AYUSH courses.
The admission process is managed by two main authorities to ensure a structured allocation of seats. For UG courses, the AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) handles the counselling for 15% of the All India Quota (AIQ) seats. The remaining 85% of the seats fall under the respective State Counseling Authority. Each state has its own designated counselling authority to manage the admissions for the majority of seats available in AYUSH colleges within the state, primarily catering to the state’s residents.
For PG courses, the AACCC will conduct counselling for managing 50% of the All India Quota seats. The remaining 50% of the seats are managed by the respective state Counseling Authority. This authority oversees the admission process for half of the postgraduate seats in AYUSH colleges within each state.
To participate in AYUSH Counselling, students must attempt the NEET Exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and secure an eligible NEET score. For AYUSH UG counselling, candidates must take the NEET UG Exam for admission to AYUSH UG courses such as BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS, and BNYS. For AYUSH PG counselling, candidates must appear for the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET). This exam is essential for admission to postgraduate courses in AYUSH such as MD & MS.
