Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has released the schedule for CAP Round 2 and CAP Round 3 for admission to BAMS, BHMS and BUMS (Group B) courses for the academic year 2026-27.
The schedule has been issued through Notice No. 20 – NEET-UG-2026 and follows the completion of CAP Round 1. The CET Cell stated that CAP Round 2 will be conducted to fill seats remaining vacant after Round 1, in view of the schedules issued by NCISM and NCL for All India Quota and State counselling.

Maharashtra AYUSH CAP Round 2 Schedule 2026
The CAP Round 2 schedule is applicable only to Group B courses – BAMS, BHMS and BUMS.

Candidates selected in CAP Round 2 must physically join their allotted college with all original documents and the requisite fee/DD.
The notice further states that if payment is made by cheque and the joining date falls on a bank holiday, the cheque should be replaced by a DD on the next working day. Failure to submit the DD on the next working day may result in cancellation of admission.

The CET Cell has stated that the schedule for subsequent stray vacancy rounds will be announced separately.
Important Instructions for Candidates
Candidates participating in both AIQ (State or Central) and State counselling need to exercise caution while filling their preferences. According to the notice, candidates who are allotted a seat through AIQ Central or State in CAP-3 will not be allotted a seat in the State Counselling CAP-3.
Therefore, candidates have been advised to fill their preferences wisely. Once a seat is allotted, joining the allotted seat is mandatory. The notice also specifies that candidates who have joined up to CAP-2 in AIQ rounds of State and Central and are allotted a seat in CAP-3 of AIQ by both State and Central, will be weeded out from the selection list even if they have filled the choice.
