Delhi AYUSH Counselling 2025

Delhi AYUSH Counselling will be conducted by the Faculty of Ayurvedic and Unani Medicine and Admission & Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and the registration for Delhi AYUSH Counselling 2024 will commence from 1st Aug 2024 for colleges under IPU. Delhi AYUSH Counselling is conducted for admission in BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS & BNYS courses and admission is solely based on NEET Exam rank. The curriculum for these AYUSH courses aligns with the standards set by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH), ensuring a complete education in traditional medical systems.  This year NEET Exam was conducted twice, the first exam was conducted on 5th May 2024 and the second exam was conducted on 23rd June 2024 and National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared results on 4th June & 30th June 2024 respectively. Candidates who appeared in the NEET exam will be eligible to participate in Delhi AYUSH Counselling.

As per the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH) there are 02 BAMS Colleges with 140 seats, 02 BHMS Colleges with 175 seats, and 02 BUMS Colleges with 110 seats in Delhi. Counselling for these colleges starts with the candidate’s registration on the counselling conducting authority’s official website https://fmsc.ac.in/unani.htm & https://ipu.admissions.nic.in/. Faculty of Ayurvedic and Unani Medicine and Admission & Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts counselling for 85% of seats in government & private AYUSH colleges in Delhi under State Quota. Counselling for the remaining 15% of seats in government & private colleges will be conducted by the AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) under All India Quota (AIQ).

Delhi AYUSH counselling is an important process for securing admission into AYUSH courses in the state. The counselling is categorized into two main types based on the overseeing authority and the quota of seats being filled.

Delhi University Counselling Registration Process – State Quota

Step 1: Online Registration

  • Visit the Website: Go to www.fmsc.ac.in to start the registration process.
  • Create Login Details: On the “Confirm your information” page, enter your NEET-UG-2025 Roll No. and Date of Birth. Click “View” to display your details. If the details are correct, click “Confirm” to proceed.
  • Enter Contact Information: On the “New Registration” page, provide a valid Mobile No. and Email ID. These will be used for future communication. Create a password (maximum six characters) for your online registration account (not the same as your email password).
  • Verify Details: Ensure that all entered details are correct as no changes or modifications will be allowed later. Provide a valid 10-digit mobile phone number without any prefix.

Step 2: Login and Check Details

  • Log In: Use your registered email ID and the created password to log in to your account.
  • Fill Out the Form: Complete the online registration form. Click “Save” to review the details you have filled in.
  • Future Logins: Use the same email ID and password for any future logins.

Step 3: Upload Required Documents

DU AYUSH Counselling Process

Step 1: Counselling Registration

  • Visit the Website: Go to www.fmsc.ac.in to begin the registration process for Undergraduate (BAMS and BUMS) courses.
  • Start Registration: Click on “UGNEET-2024 Online Registration” to initiate your registration.

Step 2: Document Verification

  • Confirmation Email: After uploading your documents, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt.
  • Thorough Check: Your documents will be reviewed by trained staff to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Validation Notification: After verification, you will receive a notification confirming whether your documents are in order, ensuring that you meet the eligibility criteria for your chosen course.

Step 3: Choice Filling

  • After successful document verification, you will have the opportunity to fill in your choices for seat allotment.
  • Select your preferred institutes and courses in order of preference.
  • To increase your chances of securing a seat, it is advisable to list as many choices as possible.
  • Access rank cut-off data on the university website to make informed choices.

Step 4: Seat Allotment

  • Seat Allotment Process: The university will use your filled choices along with your merit and category to allot seats. Check the allotment results by logging into your account. If allotted a seat, print the Provisional Allotment Letter for the respective round within the specified period.

Step 5: Confirmation of Seat

  • Confirm Your Seat: Pay the part Academic Fee of Rs. 60,000/- within the specified period to confirm your seat. This payment is essential for participating in subsequent rounds of counselling. Payment can be made online via Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card.

Step 6: Reporting to the College

Report to Allotted College: After receiving your seat allotment, report to the allotted college. Present the necessary documents and complete any remaining admission formalities to secure your seat in the course.

IPU Counselling Process – State Quota

Counselling Registration

  • Enrollment Period: After confirmation of receipt of having paid the Counselling Participation Fee, candidates must enrol themselves within the specified period notified on the website.
  • Registration Details: During registration, candidates must enter programme code details, and personal/academic/contact details (address, mobile no., email ID).
  • Login ID and Password: During registration, candidates will receive a login ID and password, which they must remember and keep confidential to avoid misuse. The login ID and password are required to complete the enrollment process and pay the Counselling Participation Fee.
  • Password Change: Candidates can change their password using the Change Password menu if required.
  • Editing Registration Details: Candidates can amend/edit registration details within the specified period of Enrollment. After this period, candidates cannot claim ignorance of failing to do so within time.
  • Printout of Registration Form: Candidates must check all filled-in details before taking the printout. All candidates must take a printout/screenshot of the Registration Form and proof of having enrolled for online counselling (receipt of Counselling Participation Fee). Document verification will be carried out online based on the information provided and updated by the candidate until the enrollment period.

Choice Filling

  • Compulsory Choice Filling: Choice filling is compulsory for seat allotment. Candidates will not be considered for online allotment of seats without filled-in choices/preferences.
  • Filling Choices: After enrollment, candidates must fill choices for allotment from the list of all possible combinations of institutes and courses available, in the order of their preference, during the choice-filling period.
  • Use of Filled Choices: After the choice-filling period, choices/preferences filled by candidates will be used for seat allotment.
  • Maximizing Choices: Candidates are encouraged to fill as many choices as possible to increase the possibility of getting a desirable seat. The stream-wise, institute-wise, and rank-wise Admission Rank cut-off data are available on the University Website and https://ipu.admissions.nic.in.
  • Few Choices Risk: Filling very few choices may result in the non-allotment of seats. Therefore, candidates should fill as many choices as possible to ensure better chances of allotment.
  • Editing Choices: Candidates will be given the opportunity to edit/modify/add/delete preferences after the allotment of seats in Round 1 for the subsequent round of counselling.
  • Printout of Saved Choices: Candidates should save their choices/preferences and take a printout for future reference.
  • Visit Colleges: Candidates and their parents are advised to visit the various Colleges/Institutes affiliated with the University before the counselling date(s) to ascertain the location, academic, and infrastructural facilities. Any representation regarding the location of allotted Colleges/Institutes or non-availability of transportation will not be entertained by the University.

Result / Allocation of Seats in Every Round

  • Online Allotment: After the choice-filling period, all choices/preferences filled by candidates will be considered for online allotment of seats as per merit and respective category and region.
  • Non-Consideration for Allotment: Candidates who have not enrolled by not paying the counselling participation fee, paid the counselling participation fee but not enrolled, or enrolled but not filled choices/preferences will not be considered for allotment of seats. Candidates who were allotted a seat in any round but did not pay the part academic fees of INR 60,000/- will also not be considered in subsequent rounds of counselling.
  • Checking Results: Results must be checked by candidates through their account login given during the registration process. No personal intimation will be communicated.
  • Provisional Allotment Letter: Candidates can print the Provisional Allotment Letter if a seat is allotted to them. The option to print the Provisional Allotment Letter will be available only for the respective round within the specified period.
  • Part Academic Fee Payment: After seat allotment, candidates must pay the part Academic Fee of INR 60,000/- to confirm the allotment and participate in the subsequent rounds of counselling, failing which they will lose the claim to the allotted seat and will not be considered further for any subsequent round of online counselling.
  • Online Fee Payment: Candidates can pay the admission fee against the provisionally allotted seat through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card. Candidates can print the Admission Fee Receipt immediately after payment.
  • Issue Resolution: If the fee receipt is not available on the website within the specified time, candidates should contact the University Helpdesk to resolve the issue.

Option of Freeze/Float After Allotment of Seat

  • Freeze Option: After every round of Counselling, candidates satisfied with the allotted seat and not wanting to participate in subsequent rounds of counselling for upgradation can freeze their allotted seat by clicking the freeze option available in their account on the counselling website within the specified period.
  • Float Option: Candidates wanting to upgrade their choice by participating in the next round of counselling should choose the float option. Those opting for the float option will participate in the next round of counselling, and their allotted seat will be retained if they do not get a higher choice.

Withdrawal and Fee Refund After Online Rounds of Counselling

  • Withdrawal Procedure: After depositing Academic Fees, candidates can withdraw their admission by clicking the withdrawal option available in their account within the specified period for withdrawal.
  • Refund of Fees: After successful withdrawal, the part academic fee of INR 60,000/- will be refunded to the same account/card through which the fee was paid. Candidates must keep their account/card details updated in their records.

Spot Counselling / Open House Counselling

  • Spot Counselling Details: Details regarding the Spot Counselling/ Open House Counselling, if any, will be notified on the University website.
  • Participation in Spot Counselling: Candidates must refer to the official notification for instructions on how to participate in the Spot Counselling/Open House Counselling if they wish to seek admission through this process.

Verification of Documents

  • Document Verification: Verification of documents will be carried out online based on the information provided by the candidate during registration. If any discrepancy is found at any stage, the admission will be cancelled, and the candidate will be liable for appropriate action under the law.
  • Original Documents: Candidates must produce the original documents for verification during the reporting process. Failure to produce original documents may result in the cancellation of admission.

IPU Counselling Fees

  • Counselling Participation Fee: Candidates must deposit a fee of INR 1000/- plus applicable charges as a one-time (non-refundable) Online Counselling Participation Fee, as per the schedule for each CET Code. Taxes and charges are non-refundable.
  • Payment of Fee: Candidates must visit the GGSIP University admission website https://ipu.admissions.nic.in and select the option for “payment of counselling participation fee,” entering CET details such as CET Roll No, Date of Birth, and Mobile Number.
  • Mandatory Registration Fee: Submission of a registration fee of INR 1500/- is mandatory before initiating the process of enrollment by paying the counselling participation fee of INR 1000/-. Enrolling for Online Counselling by paying the Counselling Participation Fee is mandatory for choice filling for further allotment of seats. Payment of this fee alone does not entitle the candidate to admission.

AACCC UG Counselling Process

AACCC UG counselling process is structured into multiple rounds to ensure a systematic and fair allocation of seats to NEET-UG 2024 qualified candidates for AYUSH courses. The process involves registration, fee payment, choice filling, seat allotment, and physical reporting to the allotted college. Stray Vacancy Round for AIQG/AIQGA/CU/NIAll registered candidates who have not been admitted to any of the seats through AACCC-UG counselling or counselling conducted by State/UTs are eligible for Stray Vacancy Round.There is no Fresh Registration in the Stray Vacancy Round. Candidates must submit willingness in the AACCC-UG portal to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round with an undertaking that they are not holding any UG (ASU&H) seats allotted through AACCC-UG counselling or counselling conducted by State/UTs.Option for choice filling is available in the Stray Vacancy Round.4. Stray Vacancy Round for Deemed UniversityAll registered candidates who have not been admitted to any of the seats through AACCC-UG counselling or counselling conducted by State/UTs are eligible for the Stray Vacancy Round.AACCC, M/o Ayush will send a list of eligible registered candidates to Deemed Universities, which is to be exercised strictly in order of merit in the Stray Vacancy Round. The seats are domicile-free, and only registered candidates of AACCC-UG counselling are eligible for admission.3. Note: It is mandatory for all candidates to take admission on their upgraded seats in the 3rd Round from Round 1 & 2 admitted seats. Such candidates, if not joined in the upgraded seats, are ineligible for any further AYUSH counselling (Central/State/UT/Central Pool Quota) and their security money will be forfeited.

Registration Fees & Security Money for AACCC UG Counseling

Refundable Security Fee

The refundable security fee will be refunded to candidates after joining the allotted college within the stipulated time mentioned in the schedule. If a candidate does not get a seat during all rounds of counselling, the security fee will be refunded to the bank account provided by the candidate at the time of registration for AACCC counselling.

Seat Allotment

AYUSH Counselling 2024 seat allotment is the process through which candidates are assigned seats in AYUSH courses (BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS, BNYS) based on their NEET UG rank, preferences, and availability of seats. The allotment is conducted in multiple rounds, including a mop-up round to fill any remaining vacancies. Once allotted a seat, candidates must download the allotment letter and report to the assigned college within the specified time for document verification and admission.

Candidates belonging to the Creamy Layer of OBC are not entitled to reservation benefits and are considered under the general (GEN) category, making them eligible only for open seats. The GEN-EWS reservation benefit is available only to those general category candidates who meet the criteria specified by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
