
Haryana AYUSH Counselling will be conducted by Shri Krishna AYUSH University, Kurukshetra and counselling is expected to start from the 3rd week of Aug 2025. Haryana AYUSH Counselling is conducted for admission in BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS & BNYS courses and admission is solely based on NEET Exam rank. The curriculum for these AYUSH courses aligns with the standards set by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH), ensuring a complete education in traditional medical systems. This year, the NEET Exam will be held on 4th May 2025 by the National Testing Agency (NTA), and results will be declared on 14th June 2025. Candidates who appeared in the NEET exam will be eligible to participate in the Haryana AYUSH Counselling.
As per the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH), there are 13 BAMS Colleges with 908 seats, 1 BHMS College with 50 seats in Haryana. Haryana AYUSH Counselling Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission to BAMS/BHMS courses in Government/Government Aided AYUSH Colleges and Open Merit Category (State quota) seats in Private AYUSH Colleges in Haryana, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Haryana AYUSH Counselling All India Quota Seats Admission
Admission to All India Quota (AIQ) seats in private BAMS and BHMS colleges in Haryana, including those under Private/Deemed Universities in Haryana and UT Chandigarh, follows a specific procedure:
- Counselling Authority: The counselling for AIQ seats of ASU&H UG courses in Private Institutions (other than Deemed Universities) is conducted by the respective counselling authority of the State/UT Government. For Deemed Universities and National Institutes, AACCC, under the Ministry of AYUSH, conducts the counselling.
- Rounds of Counselling: State/UT counselling authorities conduct a minimum of two rounds of counselling for AIQ UG seats. After the second round, any unfilled AIQ seats are converted to State/UT Government quota seats and filled according to State Government rules.
- Domicile Requirement: There is no requirement for a domicile certificate for the allotment of seats in AIQ UG seats in private ASU&H institutes. These seats are open to candidates from all states of India.
- Reservation Policy: AIQ UG seats in private ASU&H institutes are open in nature, with relaxation in qualifying criteria provided category-wise as per relevant regulations.
Haryana AYUSH Counselling NRI Category Admission (NRIs/PIOs/OCIs/Foreign Nationals)
Admission under the NRI category for BAMS/BHMS courses in Haryana and UT Chandigarh is based on the NEET-2024 merit. NRIs, PIOs, OCIs, and Foreign Nationals who are NEET qualified are eligible to apply under this category.
Preference for admission is given as follows: actual NRIs/PIOs/OCIs originally from Haryana or UT Chandigarh, followed by their children. Next in preference are NRIs/PIOs/OCIs from other Indian states or Union Territories, and then their children. The definition of NRI extends to include certain close relatives residing abroad, as per guidelines. Candidates admitted under the NRI category must provide a Bank Guarantee or Surety Bond for fee payment. Vacant NRI category seats after the second round of counselling may be filled by eligible NEET-qualified foreign nationals, with any remaining seats converted to General Category seats in Government/Government-aided colleges or Management Category seats in Private Colleges.
Haryana AYUSH Counselling Choice Filling 2025
During the Haryana AYUSH Counselling process, candidates must exercise their choice filling carefully to ensure they secure a seat based on their preference and eligibility. Candidates belonging to the Creamy Layer of OBC are not entitled to reservation benefits and are considered under the general (GEN) category, making them eligible only for open seats. The GEN-EWS reservation benefit is available only to those general category candidates who meet the criteria specified by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
Haryana AYUSH Counselling Seat Allotment 2025
Seat allotment in Haryana AYUSH Counselling is conducted online based on the candidate’s NEET score, reservation category, preferences filled, and availability of seats. Online seat allotment does not guarantee final admission. The seat will be confirmed only after successful document verification within the timeline notified.
Candidates allotted seats in Baba Mastnath Ayurvedic College, Rohtak and Faculty of Indian Medical System, SGT University, Gurugram, may pay 50% of the fee at the time of counselling. The remaining 50% fee must be paid directly to the college before the final admission deadline.

Haryana AYUSH Counselling Stray Vacancy Round 2025
Stray Vacancy Round of Haryana AYUSH Counselling 2025 is especially for candidates who did not get any seat allocated to them in the first three rounds of Haryana AYUSH UG Counselling 2025. Payment of registration, as well as payment of fees can only be completed online on the official counselling portal. This round provides once last chance for candidates that still qualify for consideration to claim a seat in the AYUSH courses if seats are available after all the primary counselling rounds have been conducted.
Haryana AYUSH Counselling Seat Surrender Process
In the Haryana AYUSH Counselling 2025, candidates who wish to participate in the second round or onward of counselling must pay a mandatory security fee during the fresh registration and choice filling process. For candidates opting only for State Quota seats in Government or Government Aided Colleges, the security fee is ₹5,000 for General category candidates and Rs. 2,500 for SC, D-SC, BC, EWS, PWD, ESM, and FF candidates of the State of Haryana (if applicable). However, if a candidate wishes to opt for both State Quota seats in Government institutions and/or State Quota or Management Quota seats in private BAMS/BHMS colleges or universities, they must pay a security fee of Rs. 50,000 irrespective of their category.
The security fee will be forfeited under certain conditions. If a candidate is allotted a seat and does not join the allotted institution or chooses to surrender the seat for any reason, either before or after reporting, the security amount will be forfeited. Additionally, if the admission is cancelled due to the candidate providing false or incorrect information at the time of registration or if the candidate fails to produce the required documents within the specified time frame, the fee will also be forfeited.
Haryana AYUSH Counselling For Other State Students
Students from other states can participate in Haryana AYUSH Counselling 2025 under the All India Quota (AIQ). This quota allows non-resident candidates to apply for admission into government AYUSH colleges in Haryana, including courses like BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS. The counselling process for these seats is conducted by the AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) through an online process. Candidates must qualify NEET-UG and register on the official AACCC website (https://aaccc.gov.in/) to be considered for admission under the All India Quota in Haryana’s government AYUSH institutions.
