General Instructions for Haryana AYUSH Counselling 2025

Documents for Counseling: 

  • Candidates must present all original documents when they report for counseling. No set of certificates, even if attested, or photocopies, will be acceptable. 

Fee Payment: 

  • The admitted students shall pay fees and other charges as prescribed by the Government of Haryana for Private Unaided AYUSH colleges, or as fixed by Private/Deemed Universities for their colleges. 

Reservation Certificates:

  • Candidates who are SC, DSC, BC, EWS, PWD, ESM, FF, etc. are required to furnish certificates as in the format prescribed by the competent State authority. 

Backward Classes (BC-A/BC-B): 

  • If seats in BC-A categories are vacant, they will be allocated to the candidates in the BC-B categories and vice-versa. 
  • Candidates are required to furnish a current year income certificate from the competent revenue authority (e.g., Tehsildar).
  • Only candidates with a gross annual income up to ₹8 lakh will be eligible for reservation benefits. Candidates above this limit will be considered creamy layer.

Quota Adjustments for Physically Handicapped / Freedom Fighters:

  • Unutilized seats reserved for PWD candidates may be offered to Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and their wards (1%) and Dependents of Freedom Fighters (1%).
  • Additional 3% reservation is provided within General, SC, and BC categories for ESM/FF dependents.
  • Block allocation for BC-A and BC-B will follow a rotational system year-wise.

Category Choice and Merit:

  • Reserved category candidates can compete for General/Unreserved seats based on merit.
  • Candidates who do not declare their reserved category during registration cannot later claim reservation.
  • Candidates qualifying under multiple reserved categories must choose one at the time of counselling.

Minority Institution Preference:

  • For Baba Mast Nath College of Ayurveda, Rohtak, preference will be given to the Nath Sampradaya community, regardless of ordinary merit.

Validity of Admission:

  • Any admission made outside the counselling process by private colleges or private universities is null and void.
  • Admission through counselling is final and valid.
