At this stage, he/she are allowed to enter their preferred colleges and courses in order of priority. There is no restriction on the number of choices that can be entered by a candidate, and they are advised to enter as many as possible to have a better chance of seat allotment.

Candidates should carefully plan their preferences after consulting with their parents, mentors, or guardians, considering aspects such as college infrastructure, hostel facilities, distance from home, and course interest. It is recommended to prepare a priority list offline first and then enter it online to avoid any mistakes or errors. 

The option entry is a one-time process, meaning the choices submitted in the first round will be considered final for subsequent rounds. He/she cannot re-enter all choices again in later rounds but are allowed to modify the order, delete higher preferences, or add new options only if new colleges or courses are added to the seat matrix.

After submitting the options, he/she must log out and take a printout of the final list of choices submitted for their reference. This ensures that only the options saved on the server by the deadline will be used for seat allotment.

Karnataka AYUSH Counselling Stray Vacancy Round 2025

Stray Vacancy Round in Karnataka AYUSH Counselling 2025 is conducted only if there are vacant seats remaining after the mop-up round gets over. It is aimed at filling the available seats and ensuring that no AYUSH seat is left vacant at the end of the counselling process.

Only those who have appeared the NEET UG 2025 and he/she have not been allotted a seat in earlier counselling rounds can take part in the Stray Vacancy Round. Karnataka AYUSH Counselling Seat Surrender Process

In Karnataka AYUSH Counselling 2025, candidates who wish to surrender or cancel his/her allotted seat must follow specific rules set by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). If a candidate has been allotted a seat in the First Round and has reported to the allotted college, he/she are eligible to surrender their seat before the last date notified for entry of options for the Second Round. In such a case, KEA will deduct Rs. 5,000 as a processing fee and Rs. 5,000 as a penalty, and the remaining fee will be refunded to the candidate.

If a candidate surrenders the seat after the completion of the Second Round, whether he/she have reported to the college or not, the entire fee paid by the candidate will be forfeited. This includes both the processing fee and the penalty. The full course fee must be paid before surrendering the seat.

Candidates must note that if they wish to surrender a seat allotted in the Second Round, the entire fee paid will be forfeited, and no refund will be processed. Furthermore, no surrender or cancellation of a seat is allowed after the mop-up round. If a candidate fails to surrender, cancel, or join the allotted college after the Second Extended Round, KEA will also forfeit the full fee amount.

If a candidate joins a college but later decides to leave, they must surrender the seat back to KEA before the mop-up round. This is a mandatory step to ensure that valuable Government or private quota seats are made available to other deserving students. KEA considers any failure to surrender the seat a breach of trust and social responsibility.

Once a candidate joins the allotted college, the college authorities must confirm the student’s admission by updating the joining status on the KEA portal. Similarly, the candidate must also enter the joining details on the KEA portal before the prescribed deadline.
