Puducherry AYUSH Counselling will be conducted by the Centralised Admission Committee Government of Puducherry and counselling is expected to start from June 2025. Puducherry AYUSH Counselling is conducted for admission in BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS & BNYS courses and admission is solely based on NEET Exam rank. The curriculum for these AYUSH courses aligns with the standards set by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH), ensuring a complete education in traditional medical systems.  Candidates who appeared in the NEET exam will be eligible to participate in the Puducherry AYUSH Counselling.

As per the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH) there are 01 BAMS Colleges with 63 seats in Puducherry. Puducherry AYUSH Counselling 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Criteria	Description
Age Requirement	Applicants must be at least 17 years old by the time of admission or will turn 17 by December 31 of the year of admission to the first-year Undergraduate Medical Course. The maximum age limit for NEET (UG) is 25 years on the exam date, with 5-year age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC-NCL candidates and PwD candidates.
Nationality	Only Indian citizens and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are eligible. OCI candidates who wish to pursue Undergraduate Medical Courses abroad must also clear the NEET (UG) exam.

Step 1: Online Registration

• After registration, candidates fill in their preferred choices of AYUSH courses and colleges/institutions based on their eligibility and interest.

Step 3: Document Verification

• Candidates attend the document verification process as per the scheduled date and time. They submit the required documents for verification, including academic certificates, identity proof, domicile certificates, caste certificates (if applicable), and other relevant documents.

Step 4: Merit List Publication

• Once the document verification process is completed, a merit list is prepared based on candidates’ preferences and merit in the qualifying examination and entrance test (if applicable). The merit list is published on the official website, displaying the rank secured by each candidate.

Step 5: Seat Allotment

Stray Vacancy Round for AIQG/AIQGA/CU/NI	All registered candidates who have not been admitted to any of the seats through AACCC-UG counselling or counselling conducted by State/UTs are eligible for the Stray Vacancy Round. Note: It is mandatory for all candidates to take admission on their upgraded seats in the 3rd Round from Round 1 & 2 admitted seats. Such candidates, if not joined in the upgraded seats, are ineligible for any further AYUSH counselling (Central/State/UT/Central Pool Quota) and their security money will be forfeited.

Refundable Security Fee

The refundable security fee will be refunded to candidates after joining the allotted college within the stipulated time mentioned in the schedule. Seat Allotment

AYUSH Counselling 2025 seat allotment is the process through which candidates are assigned seats in AYUSH courses (BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS, BNYS) based on their NEET UG rank, preferences, and availability of seats. The allotment is conducted in multiple rounds, including a mop-up round to fill any remaining vacancies.
