Atal Medical & Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh has released the schedule for the 2nd Round of BAMS/BHMS Counselling 2026-27. The notice was issued on October 5, 2026, for admission to BAMS and BHMS courses in Himachal Pradesh.
According to the notice, candidates will be required to complete the fresh online counselling application process from October 6 to October 7, 2026. The university has also announced dates for the Round 2 merit list, vacancy display, choice filling, provisional seat allocation, final seat allocation and joining.
AMRU is the state government university conducting the counselling process for BAMS/BHMS admissions in Himachal Pradesh. The university’s official website currently lists the online BAMS/BHMS counselling facility and related 2026-27 counselling notifications.

Fresh Application Window Opens on October 6
Candidates participating in the second round will be able to fill the fresh online counselling application form from October 6 to October 7, 2026.
The 2nd Round merit list will be published on October 8, 2026. After this, AMRU will display the available vacancy position for the second round on October 9, 2026.
Choice Filling on October 9 and 11
Candidates will be required to fill and lock their preferred course, college and quota choices for the counselling process on October 9 and October 11, 2026.
Candidates should carefully review their choices before locking them and follow the instructions issued by AMRU for the counselling process.
Seat Allocation Dates
AMRU will release the provisional seat allocation for the second round on October 12, 2026.
The final seat allocation will subsequently be released on October 14, 2026. Candidates who are allotted seats will have to complete the admission process by joining the allotted college and course on October 15, 2026.
