AACCC UG Counselling Process

AACCC conducts counselling for BAMS, BHMS, BSMS, and BUMS courses through several rounds: First Round, Second Round, Third Round, and Stray Vacancy Round. These rounds are conducted for All India Quota (AIQ), Central Universities, and National Institutes. Notably, no vacant seats are transferred to the state after any round.

  • First Round Counselling

After registration on the AACCC website and payment of the required fees, candidates can participate in the first round of counselling. The process is as follows:

  • Provisional and Final Results: Initially, a provisional result is published. If no objections are raised, the final result is released.
  • Free Exit Option: The first round is a free exit round, meaning candidates can opt to leave the allotted seat without penalties. The security money is refunded once counselling concludes. Such candidates remain eligible for subsequent AACCC and state counselling rounds.
  • Joining the Allotted Seat: Candidates who wish to accept their seat must download the allotment letter from the AACCC website and report to the allotted college. They must complete admission formalities, including paying one year’s fee and submitting original documents.
  • Option for Upgrade: Candidates can opt for an upgrade if they wish to attempt for a better seat in the second round. To do so, they must select “Yes” in the upgrade option. If satisfied with the current seat and uninterested in the second round, select “No.”
  • Eligibility for Second Round: Candidates who are not allotted a seat in the first round automatically qualify for the second round.
  • Second Round Counselling

The second round is open to all first-round participants, as well as new candidates who did not register earlier. Key points include:

  • Category Changes: If a candidate moves from a reserved category seat to an unreserved (UR) category seat within the same college in the second round, they must complete the formalities again.
  • Third Round Counselling

The third round addresses vacant seats after the second round for AIQ, Central Universities, National Institutes, and Deemed Universities. Important points include:

  • Fresh Choice Filling: Like previous rounds, fresh choices must be filled for the third round.

  • Forfeiture of Security Money: If a candidate fails to report after allotment, their security money is forfeited, and they become ineligible for further AYUSH counselling.
