NEET UG 2026 Qualification Important for AYUSH Admission
Candidates seeking admission through the MP AYUSH UG counselling process should have qualified NEET UG 2026 and meet the eligibility conditions prescribed under the applicable admission rules.
The MP AYUSH counselling process is being conducted for admission to BAMS, BHMS and BUMS programmes in participating Government and private AYUSH colleges in Madhya Pradesh.
Choice Filling and Seat Allotment
Choice filling is an important stage of the counselling process. Eligible candidates are required to select their preferred courses and colleges through the online counselling portal.
Seat allotment is subsequently carried out according to the applicable merit, candidate choices, category/reservation provisions and availability of seats.
Candidates should therefore review the available seat matrix carefully before submitting and locking their choices. Seat matrices are released for individual counselling rounds and may change between rounds.
Government and Private AYUSH Colleges Included
The MP AYUSH counselling framework covers participating AYUSH institutions across the state, including Government and private colleges offering BAMS, BHMS and BUMS programmes.
Among the Government institutions listed for MP AYUSH counselling are Ayurveda colleges in Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Rewa, Ujjain and Burhanpur, along with Government Unani and Homoeopathic institutions. Private AYUSH colleges are also included subject to applicable approvals and seat availability.
Candidates Advised to Follow Official Guidelines
Candidates should carefully read both the MP Ayurveda, Homoeopathy and Unani UG Admission Rules 2026 and the State Quota UG and PG Guidelines 2026 before participating in counselling.
Particular attention should be given to:
- Eligibility requirements
- NEET qualification
- Domicile and category provisions
- Reservation rules
- Required certificates and documents
- Registration requirements
- Choice filling and locking
- Seat allotment rules
- Reporting and admission requirements
- Resignation/cancellation provisions
- Rules applicable to subsequent counselling rounds
Candidates should rely on the latest notification and seat matrix published on the official MP AYUSH counselling portal for each counselling round.
Important Note on State and All India Quota Counselling
Candidates should also distinguish between State Quota counselling and All India Quota counselling.
AACCC conducts counselling for AIQ seats in Government/Government-aided, National Institutes, Central Universities and Deemed Universities for Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy streams. For private Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy institutions, counselling for applicable AIQ/private seats is conducted by the respective State/UT counselling authority.
Therefore, candidates should check the quota and institution type before registering or exercising choices.
