This round provides another opportunity for candidates, who have qualified in NEET (UG)-2025, who either did not receive a seat in Round 1 or wish to upgrade/change their provided allotted college/course, and will be able to confirm their eligibility before participating. Eligible candidates can only take part in Round 2 Counselling after undertaking the necessary steps of online registration, paying the documents security deposit, and filling fresh choices for the chosen college, all of which must be undertaken during the specified dates.
The official Round 2 schedule outlines that online registration/document upload will take place from 10th October to 14th October, 2025 (1:00 PM), while security fee (purchase of the security deposit) will occur until 15th October, 2025 (11:59 PM) and all documents obtained will be verified from 14th October – 16th October, 2025, while the State Merit List will be released on 17th October, 2025 (4:00 PM).
The window for filling in and locking in the choices will be open from the 17th to the 23rd of October 2025 (until 11:59 p.m.) and the allotment of seats will be published on or before the 24th of October 2025 (by 5:00 p.m.). The reporting of allotted candidates to nodal centres for verification of documents and admission will take place from the 26th to the 28th of October 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Candidates must take admission at the allotted institute by the 30th of October 2025 (by 5:00 p.m.) at the latest.
This is a very important round for candidates wishing to gain admission into AYUSH colleges in the top tier in UP. Important Instructions for Candidates – Uttar Pradesh AYUSH Counselling 2025 Round 2
Directorate of AYUSH, Uttar Pradesh, has issued some important guidelines for candidates in Round 2 of AYUSH Counselling 2025. The guidelines are critical in ensuring that candidates can participate in the second round in a timely manner, are eligible to go through the admissions process, and be fully considered for seat allotments during the second round of the BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS admissions process throughout the state.
Eligibility and Participation for Round 2
(i) Candidates that were not allotted a seat in Round 1 are eligible to participate in Round 2 without paying the security deposit again.
(ii) Candidates who were already allotted and admitted to a college in Round 1 can also participate in Round 2 for seat upgradation.
- Such candidates must fill fresh choices during Round 2.
- They should not select the same seat already allotted to them in Round 1.
- When a candidate is allocated a new seat in Round 2, their previously allocated one is cancelled automatically and will be deemed surrender, and the candidate must take admission in the new allottee registration, if allocated any as per merit list.
- If no new seat is allotted in round 2, the previous seat registration will be valid.
(iii) A candidate is eligible for round 3 even if they received a seat in round 2 and did not complete document verification, provided their registration fee is still intact.
(iv) If a candidate was given a seat in round 2, verified their documents, and chose not to take admission, their registration would be liable for forfeiture.
- To participate in further rounds (Round 3 or Stray Round), they must deposit the security amount again.
